Elizabeth

Licensed Esthetician, Owner

Liz is the CBO (Chief Beauty Officer) of Vanilla Sugar Face & Body and has a passion and curiosity for unique skin issues.  After nearly 20 years in the health and beauty industry, she is what we call a Functional Research Esthetician.  She studies skin disorders and technology to improve these issues through a holistic approach. Her passion and decades of experience drive results for Vanilla Sugar clients by reversing damage to the skin with pigmentation disorders,  acne clearing & scaring issues in the skin. She is a Navy Veteran, Bombshell Beauty Rituals Podcaster, Author of Filter Free & Flawless & mentor to other spa owners across the country. Her goal in running the spa is to provide an amazing & healthy working environment for our guests & our team.

Liz spends her free time as a competitive bodybuilder, riding her motorcycle, building a chocolate manufacturing company (stay tuned),  and most of all with her friends & family.

Taya

Licensed Esthetician

After a negative experience with a service, Taya decided to take matters into her own hands. She began to do her own treatments, and soon fell in love, turning her passion into a fulfilling career. She developed a specific speciality for lashes after being the leader of her class at Woodruff. 

When she has free time, Taya loves to spend it with her two adorable puppies.

Carissa

Licensed Esthetician

Carissa has always loved all things beauty. Right after her senior year of high school, she moved from Texas and returned to her home town in Illinois to be with family and work to get her esthetics license. Carissa graduated from Tricoci University at the top of her class. She takes great pride in her work and loves to make clients feel confident, healthy and looking great. Carissa loves working at Vanilla Sugar because of her passions for waxing and facials. She specializes in lash extensions, acne treatments and waxing. 

In her free time, Carissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, or watching movies or makeup tutorials with her cats.

Kayleigh

Licensed Esthetician

Kayleigh has always had a knack for bringing out the best in herself and others. She graduated from Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in the beginning of 2024, and began her journey into the beauty industry. 

Kayleigh spends her free time perfecting her makeup techniques and playing video games.

Rubi

Licensed Cosmetologist

Rubi is a licensed cosmetologist who graduated from Woodruff Career Center in 2023. Her mission is to uplift others and boost their confidence, making them forget their insecurities. She has always had a passion for hairstyling, makeup, waxing, and skincare, making her a well-rounded cosmetologist. 

“I love working at Vanilla Sugar because it is a very educational job. I am always learning something new every day. I also love the environment and my relationships with my co-workers, who are more like sisters that I never had.”

Outside work, Rubi likes to spend time with her family, go to the gym, lift weights, dance, and party with her friends.

Saige

licensed esthetician

Saige has been obsessed with skincare ever since she got her first facial.  She graduated from Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in 2018.  She went into the industry because she knows what it feels like not to feel confident in your skin.  Her primary goal is to make every single client feel beautiful and confident.  She brings a lot of humor into the treatment room, keeping her clients entertained while performing her signature service, the Brazilian wax.

She enjoys exercising, hanging out with friends and family, and shopping.

Yari

Yari brings her amazing talent to our spa as a recent graduate of Bradley University. She’s behind the scenes letting our guests know about all the happenings at our spa.

Yari has a passion for wellness and fitness and loves to spend time with her husband and puppy.

Ella

Licensed Esthetician

Ella has always had a passion for skincare and a love for bringing out the beauty from within. She provides customized skincare treatments for clients so they can truly feel like the best version of themselves. Ella is a very detail-oriented esthetician who graduated from Tricoci University in December 2023. She is able to proficiently analyze skin types and conditions to recommend the appropriate products and treatments. 

She enjoys long walks with her dogs, art, listening to music, and exercising in her free time.
